Tom White "Decision Influencer" Lecture 2012
Strategic marketing expert and "brand architect" Tom White gives a talk at the Kurland Lecture Hall at California State University Northridge on February 16, 2012, as part of the Commerce of Creativity Speaker Series. The subject of White's talk is "The 7 Marketing Secrets of Megaselling Brands," in which he identifies the essential qualities embodied by brands like Apple, Nike, Starbucks, Federal Express, Disney, and McDonalds. Following this, he unites the concepts with the story of his contribution to defense contractor Lockheed Martin's original sale of the F-22 fighter jet to the US Air Force. After the presentation, White takes questions from the audience.

In October 2017, the Network for Global Innovation welcomed a delegation of two cleantech companies from Finland for a week-long exchange program. The Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation (TEKES), a publicly funded expert organization for financing research, development, and innovation in Finland, selected these companies to participate in workshops and lectures led by LACI’s Executives in Residence (EIR’s), specialists, and partner organizations. He helped Lockheed-Martin win the $70 billion F-22 fighter jet contract, and he has achieved unprecedented growth for design firms, advertising agencies, academic institutions and entrepreneurial ventures. Today, Tom is a founding partner at Insight-Growth (www.insight-growth.com), a consultancy dedicated to helping brands improve recognition, attachment, reputation and revenues in a fast, hyper-connected world. Tom holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, and a degree in industrial design from CSUN where he earned top honors from the Industrial Design Society of America.
